Why do I need a wedding planner?
In today’s world we are all just too busy and take on too much in everyday life. Add to that the pressure of arranging the most important day of your life and you have the makings of guaranteed stress. Imagine that with only a few weeks to go your wedding dress doesn’t arrive, it is good to know that there is someone on hand to deal with everything, leaving you free to pamper yourself and arrive on the day totally refreshed.

 

What do you do?
A good wedding planner will work to your requirements. We don’t work to any set package we simply tailor everything to your needs. We work in the background on the day and make sure that everything runs smoothly and to plan. We liaise with suppliers and ensure that everything arrives on time and in one piece, with no hitches.

 

How often do we meet?
This very much depends on the scale of the wedding. Most of the work can be conducted remotely and we may only have one or two meetings. During the first few months clients find that we have daily contact and then it may be very quiet for a few months before the final months prior to the wedding. At least a month before the wedding we arrange a meeting to discuss all the final arrangements, this can be either in person or on the phone depending on geography.

My venue has a planner, why do I need another?
Many couples feel that if they have a planner on site at the venue that they don't need anyone from outside, this is not the case. It is vital to remember that an "in house" planner is employed by the venue and will work in their best interest. They will also not be involved in all of the planning like sourcing suppliers, negotiating and over- seeing contracts. We do always work alongside "in house" planners and make sure we keep a good relationship going all throughout the planning process.

Do you negotiate with suppliers to get the best price?
We always try and work with suppliers that we know. This means that not only do you get a guarantee of good service but we often have pre-agreed a discount with them. We always pass this direct to you as our client and never take a cut for ourselves. We also shop around to get you the best price possible. Very often clients find that we pay for ourselves.

Who will attend on the day?
Bethany and Tracey are the owners and founders of Divas Divine and we will be the two people dealing with your wedding.

Tracey has a background in admin,finance and human resources.Tracey takes care of the budgeting, paperwork that may need to be filled out prior to your wedding and contacting suppliers and vendors.

Bethany has a background in customer liason, bridalwear and research. Bethany finds vendors and suppliers and negotiates deals for our brides. She also runs www.gownsforgals.com a bridalwear website.

Both planners are fully qualified and certified.
